Free to Be Kids

Our volunteers have been busy making Cooking Passports for all the children to record their recipes in and to keep a diary of their time with us. At the end of the sessions, they'll take the passports home as a reminder of our time together.

We've also been making special Free to Be aprons, to give all the children a sense of belonging when they are here with us (and to keep their school uniforms clean)!

After our parcels were cooked, we laid the table and sat together to eat them. We also made a cucumber and yoghurt dip and some potatoes to go with them. Whilst we were eating, we shared what our favourite foods are and decided what we want to make in future weeks. We voted for chicken and chips next week!
